Our study group appreciates the "side bars" and tidbits of information included in each chapter, but the questions do not lend themselves to in-depth discussion and application of the Biblical passages. We would describe it overall as shallow, not meaty. James itself, however, is a rich field of study, so we are bringing in most of our discussion material from other sources!

I would not recommend this book for a study group and am sorry we chose it for our study of James.
